Easy Curry Chicken

This  curry chicken was a huge hit at dinner last month so I made it again this week. It’s so good I just had to share it with you! Not only is it super easy, the chicken is tender and very tasty. Easy Beef Gravy Recipe

Roast Beef DinnerThis is hands down my favorite, easy beef gravy recipe. It goes perfectly with roast beef, hamburger steak and meatloaf or any beef dish that calls for gravy. Not only is this homemade gravy quick and easy to make, it’s delicious too.

Ingredients:
3 tbsp/45 mL pan drippings, butter or Watkins Grapeseed Oil
1-1/2 tbsp/25 mL all-purpose flour
1/4 cup/60 mL Watkins Mushroom Soup and Gravy base
2 tbsp/30 mL Watkins Beef Soup and Gravy base
1-3/4 cups/375 mL water
1/8 to 1/4 tsp/0.6 to 1.2 ml, to taste Watkins Black Pepper

Organic Cinnamon and Spice Cookies

These organic cinnamon and spice cookies make a nice treat with a cup of coffee, herbal tea or a cold glass of milk. They are great for packed lunches and snacking any time of the day.

Cinnamon Spice CookiesIngredients
2 cups/500 mL all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp/7.5 mL baking soda
1 tsp/5 mL Watkins Organic Cinnamon
1/2 tsp/2.5 mL Watkins Organic Nutmeg
1/2 tsp/2.5 mL salt
1 1/2 cups/375 mL sugar
12 tbsp/180 mL butter (1 ½ sticks), softened
1 egg
1/2 tsp/2.5 mL Watkins Organic Vanilla Extract
1/4 cup/60 mL molasses

Directions: Preheat oven to 350F/180C. In a medium bowl whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. In a shallow bowl set aside 1/2 cup/125 mL sugar.

With an electric mixer beat butter, remaining sugar, egg, vanilla, and molasses until well blended. Combine with dry ingredients until dough forms. Roll dough into 1 inch/2.5 cm balls and dip in 1/2 cup/125 mL reserved sugar.

Arrange cookies on a baking sheet, about 3-inches/7.5-cm apart. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes. Makes 3 dozen.

French Onion Soup Recipe

Do you love soup? Here is a wonderful french onion soup recipe for you. Onions are chock full of good things for you, to make this recipe healthier reduce the amount of butter, use grapeseed oil or a combination of the two.

Ingredients:
5 medium onions
3 tbsp/45 mL butter or Watkins grapeseed oil
1-1/2 quarts/liters water
1/4 cup/60 mL Watkins Beef Soup and Gravy base
1 tbsp/15 mL Watkins Onion Soup and Gravy base
1/4 tsp/1.2 mL Watkins Black Pepper
Pinch of Cayenne Pepper
Pinch of Watkins Thyme
6 slices French bread
Butter or butter and grapeseed oil mixed half and half
1 cup/250 mL (4 oz/113 g) shredded swiss cheese

Hot And Spicy Winter Cole Slaw
